QuMei Home Furnishings Group Co., Ltd (QuMei) will cooperate with Mr. Liang Zhitian and Mr. Lu Zhirong, two internationally renowned designers, to display the 'Fan' series of coffee tables and armchairs at Milan Design Week, which began on April 12.

Designed based on the concept of the Chinese fan, Liang and Lu's products will be exhibited during the Contemporary Chinese Philosophy of Life Exhibition. The products integrating modern design with life philosophy will enable a dialogue on art between two countries -- China and Italy -- with ancient cultivation.

The design concept of this series is an interpretation on the modern Chinese life philosophy. Made of 124 timer structures, the coffee tables of the Fan series feature elegant lines and graceful postures. Each table has a unique length and radian, and vividly represents being fanned by a fan.

Fan armchairs are made of leather and timer structures, to provide the original comfort aesthetics and represent the life philosophy of peace of mind. The furniture integrates the unique attitudes of the traditional China with the ebullient western style, and thus provides unparalleled style and comfort for customers.

The Contemporary Chinese Philosophy of Life Exhibition opened on April 12, 2016. The opening ceremony attracted great attention from multiple media sources, including RAI, the Italian National Television Station, daily newspaper Corriere della Sera, top design magazines and multiple Chinese media publications.

Under the theme of "Tradition in Evolution", QuMei and the two designers are making efforts to introduce Chinese designs to the world and make more opportunities for modern furniture design.
