More than 400 companies exihibited at the 2nd Wuhan International Furniture Fair in Wuhan International Expo Center, from Apr 22 to Apr 25. The fair attracted around 50,000 buyers.

As the capital city of Hubei Province, Wuhan is an important hub of central China which has growing  furniture consumer market as ell as the developing furniture industry. Wuhan Int'l Furniture Fair filled the blank of the furniture trade fair of central China and brought great  buying sources for the dealers, wholesalers and designers of the six central provinces.

70% of the exihibitos came from outside of Hubei, while only 30 were from local such Lianle,Longxiang and Menghu. The organiser mentioned it was the first time that the fair attracted international buyers and trading companies.
