The 35th International Famous Furniture Fair Dongguan, held March 16-20 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center, featured more than 1,100 exhibitors showcasing product in about 7.5 million square feet of show space.

The companies at this year's event introduced a wide range of product including bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture as well as fabric and leather sofas, sectionals and motion upholstery. Other categories included wall décor, decorative accessories, lighting, home textiles and woodworking machinery and materials.

Below are some highlights from the show:

This contemporary leather sectional was on display at Coomo Furniture, which also showed leather occasional chairs, dining sets and entertainment consoles.

Italian bedroom manufacturer DeRucci showed this race-car-themed platform bed at the show.

This upholstered panel bed was among the bedroom furniture shown at A&X Furniture.

This traditional-style living room vignette was shown at Pennsylvania House, a brand in the Samson Holding group of companies that includes Universal Furniture and Legacy Classic.

Furniture showed this industrial-themed bed that features upholstered side panels.
