A few days ago, the launching of the "Management Standards for the Implementation of Redwood Quality Assurance Units" (hereinafter referred to as "Standards") was held in Beijing, marking the official entry of the "Standards" into the drafting and formulation stage.

The formulation of the Standard was led by the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association (hereinafter referred to as the China Redwood Committee), and representatives from industry companies from various mahogany furniture producing areas across the country participated in the formulation. According to reports, the "Standard" will be used nationwide and will play a binding and normative role for the national redwood enterprises.

The development of the Standard is an important part of the "Redwood Quality Assurance Project"

The "Standard" was drafted by the Chinese Redwood Committee. According to reports, the Chinese Redwood Committee was officially approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in October 2011. It is the only Mahogany industry professional committee organization approved by the state and is a state-owned asset management committee of the State Council. It is the authoritative organization of the redwood industry.

This standard will involve the identification and compensation of Mahogany.
