The penetration rate of domestic smart door locks is far lower than the international normal level, currently it has less than 3% of market shares in China and is concentrated in the southeast coastal areas. With the continuous growth of the B-end market and the C-end market, the smart door locks are gradually getting hot in the domestic market. 

In terms of policy, many departments have clearly regarded smart homes as strategic emerging industries to foster development. In addition, local governments are also intensively making policies and plans to develop smart door lock. Smart door locks have become the entry-level product of smart homes and have become a key entry point for smart home service groups.

Since 2016, with the official outbreak of China's smart door lock retail market, the smart lock market has entered a period of rapid development. According to the data, in 2017, the total sales volume of China's smart lock industry exceeded 7 million sets. By 2018, the overall sales volume of the national smart lock industry in the first half of the year exceeded 8.3 million sets, and the growth momentum was obvious. It is estimated that by 2020, China's smart door lock sales will exceed 35 million sets.
