The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the operation of the building materials industry in the first three quarters of 2020. According to the data, the value added of the building materials industry in the first three quarters increased by 0.7% year-on-year, achieving a negative turn to positive. The first three quarters of the building materials industry enterprises on top of the operating income of 3.8 trillion yuan, down 1.8% year-on-year, down 3.0 percentage points narrower than the first half of the year; total profits of 321.8 billion yuan, down only 0.9% year-on-year, is close to the same period last year level.
