On December 15, data jointly released by the Circulation Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce and the China Building Materials Circulation Association showed that the sales of building materials and home furnishing stores above designated size nationwide were 82.646 billion yuan in November, down 10.53% from the previous month and 3.98% from the same period last year. From January to November 2020, cumulative sales were 676.997 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 25.96%. According to the Industry Research Department of China Building Materials Circulation Association, with the weather turning cold in November, the building materials and home furnishing market entered the traditional winter off-season, and the demand began to shrink.
