On August 25, VIOMI Technology announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. The company' s Q2 total net revenue was 1.659 billion yuan, compared with 1.684 billion yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 1.5%. Net profit was 46.415 million yuan, compared with 10.317 million yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 350%.

By business, revenue from the IoT@Home product portfolio was 1.146 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%; revenue from whole-house water purification solutions was 219 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 18%; revenue from consumer products revenue was 102 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%; revenue from small household appliances and others was 191 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.8%.

The cumulative number of household users is about 5.9 million. In contrast, as of the end of the first quarter of 2021, there were about 5.6 million cumulative users, and the cumulative number of users in the same period last year was about 4.2 million; the proportion of household users with at least two connected products reached 20.7% , and the proportion at the end of the first quarter of 2021 was 20.4%, and the proportion in the same period last year was 19.0%.

Looking into the third quarter, the company expects net revenue to be between RMB 1 and 1.1 billion. The company expects that starting from the third quarter, its own brand vacuum cleaner business will achieve faster growth and will become one of the company' s main businesses.
