Grupo Industrial UMO, founded in 1968 as an automotive parts manufacturer, began creating its memory foam products in 2010.

The company is expanding its reach into the bedding segment with Therapedic. Grupo Industrial UMO will begin with a regional license to manufacture pillows under the Therapedic brand and will begin importing mattresses before beginning on-site mattress manufacturing.
