China Ministry of Finance, the National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Environmental Protection are leading to formulate a sewage charge system of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
The first draft of the sewage charge system has been submitted and the implementation is expected to be started in 2015. Beijing, Fujian and some cities in Guangdong are possibly the first lot to join the system. Furniture and kitchen cabinet manufacturers should pay attention to the system because furniture manufacturing are one of the industries mentioned in the draft.
VOC is identified as one of the major reason of haze weather and other air pollution in China.
