The company expanded into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the fourth quarter 2013 and started operations in Shanghai, China earlier in 2015. In April, Ethnicraft Online began to market oak furniture, complementing its teak furniture line. Ethnicraft uses reclaimed and plantation teak wood from Java, Indonesia. Teak's natural attributes – its high oil content, strength and durability – make it an exceptional choice for furniture. Items made from teak repel moisture and last for many years, giving the furniture a timeless quality.
