On 26 January, Sogal announced that it plans to invest RMB 2 billion in the construction of the Sogal Global Development Centre Building in Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, and intends to sign a "Letter of Intent for Project Investment" with the People's Government of Haizhu District, Guangzhou City. It is reported that the project is positioned to host the Group's business development headquarters, industrial internet, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent design, industrial research and development, global sourcing, e-commerce and other business functions. After the completion of the project, part of the property can be leased to external parties, thus revitalising the utilisation rate of the property and reducing the cost of ownership.
