Exhibited at the 2011 Interior Design Show in Toronto and designed by Bram Sawatzky, the Have a Seat lounger could be exactly the comfortable yet firm seating solution you were looking for. According to the designer the Have a Seat lounger will surprise you with a hard outer shell only to reveal a “soft, welcoming interior” inside. In order to build the Have a Seat lounger, Sawatzky used a tubular steel frame, recycled fiber, wood veneer panels for the back seat and a thick layer of felt for the seating area. The Have a Seat lounger seems to be pretty easy to produce, but, as much as you may already love it, the chair isn’t yet available in stores.
