The Blob isn’t your average comics bad guy today as that’s the name of a modern sofa design currently on sale through Furniture Design Market in Norway. Designed by Francois Papastefanou, the Blob proposes us an interesting living room seating solution, a sofa that appears to be always on the move. The Blob has an irregular shape but then again we need some irregularity in our daily lives so why not go for such a couch idea? And it’s exactly that peculiar shape that gives us the impression the couch has decided to slowly move away from its determined position. What would make this design even better would be adding some modular action to the Blob. That way you could actually move each segment of the sofa the way you see fit.
