Nest-Shaped Chair Of Rough Wood
    November 14,2011

Designer Floris Wubben inspired by the natural beauty of the wood decided to create an object that would highlight the natural beauty without distracting attention. It’s the Eyrie Chair that is made of steam bent ash, the connections between the slats are made using an Ash ‘pin’ and wood glue all of which sits on a frame formed by wooden branches. This chair reminds of a bird’s nest as it’s made of single wooden parts as if some bird took these pieces and put them here. Simple rough wood base and wooden parts create a great impression and attract attention to the beauty of the wood. It’s an inspiring design for any nature-lover.
