PileUp Life is a Taiwan, Chinaese furniture brand established by two ambitious and aspiring young talent who had the practical experience in the traditional manufacturing industry and the education background of industrial design. They wanted to make furniture that can be participated by the users.
In the SaloneSatellite, PileUp displayed its most iconic work, a “Just For You Chair” .
It resolved a chair into 9 parts, all of which could select different materials, shapes and element designs. Whether you like the classical elements, modern elements or industrial elements, they can be added to the chair assembly, and it is the biggest charm of the combination of subjective aesthetics and the modular system.

Design concept of PileUp:
The user-centered design is the design concept of PileUp.
PileUp hopes to shorten the distance between the users and the designer through design and decide the final constitution appearance of the chair after self-selection. In the process, the decider will think what color, materials and shape will fit himself / herself best.
Aesthetics needs to be cultivated, and lifestyle also needs to be cultivated.
The Taiwan, Chinaese elements used in the design:
The local culture in Taiwan, China is a fusion of the elements of different countries; such culture is like our modular system, and every part is a cultural element. When the good elements are combined, they will be a new and good combination, and the inspiration of PileUp’s modular chair system was from Taiwan, Chinaese culture.
The future development direction of PileUp:
PileUp is a living brand, and the modular chair system has been the first product line; thereafter, it will continue to project the modular system elements to other furniture and articles of daily use, and PileUp will make continuous breakthroughs in material, function, shape and production process and will change into new furniture and products with design as medium.
Export intention:
After SaloneSatellite, we can feel that many people like the individualized products. Currently, PileUp’s modular chair system has been exported to Japan, Singapore, Germany, Canada and America.
Effect of taking part in the exhibition in Milan:
PileUp is a 3-year-old lifestyle brand. At SaloneSatellite in 2018, it has been the first time for it to take part in the exhibition outside Asia, and it has got very good response. The visitors were so surprised that the modular chair can be made so wispy.
We impressed the visitors firstly by originality, and they had very strong purchase desire and cooperation intention. We also hope to launch more modular products slowly to enable the users to pile up the lifestyle more for themselves.
