When you think of fiberglass, you might think of the iconic Eames couple's molded fiberglass chair, but designer Asa Pingree shows that the material is still very promising and can be shaped into many shapes.
Asa Pingree's new fiberglass collection is inspired by his memory as the son of a shipbuilder on the Maine coast island. When designing lounge chairs, benches, footrests and daybeds, Pingree explores the relationship between shape and balance, making each product look solid and light.
