"Prospettive Fantastiche" is a collection of carpets designed by MM Company for Matteo Pala. It draws inspiration from the flat pencil sketches made by the architect, and also leaves the design ideas generated by the phone. (Because the two designers finalized the design concept immediately after talking on the phone, the phone can also be said to be one of the important participants in this carpet design.)
Arcadia, Volumia, and Elisia e Triplia are the names of these 4 carpets respectively. "Prospettive Fantastiche" is a collection of geometric composition. The composition can perfectly show the 3D geometric effect from every angle and achieve the three-dimensional perspective of the building.
The carpet has intricate color changes and elegant flow, which fully proves Matteo Pala's passion for art and weaving. The carpet is composed of geometric color blocks of different sizes, which are woven from soft fabrics to create a wonderful touch.
This series is a product of combining creativity, materials and know-how. Each piece is designed by MM Company and completely handmade by Indian professional craftsmen; they follow traditional techniques and use the best quality such as New Zealand wool and silk made of materials. Finally, it was exhibited in Matteo Pala's exclusive showroom in Vicenza in historic Zileri.
The Prospettive Fantastiche series showcases its exquisite and simple palette, and gives it a rich texture through different stacking levels: to highlight the disappearing lines and sense of depth, the closer to the center of the carpet, the more obvious the sense of hierarchy.
