The Italian national treasure designer Antonio Citterio's design style is classic and concise, and the design concept of "starting with design and ending with life" runs through it all the time. Noonu is its new sofa series designed for B&B Italia.
According to Antonio Citterio, Noonu will use the straight lines and arcs of its four basic modules to communicate with the surrounding environment, occupying a central position and creating a spectacular and vibrant atmosphere.
Noonu's large size meets people's required flexibility, and its supporting structure disappears from people's vision, like an "island" floating in the air. The seat itself is deep, and the inclined back is designed to accommodate the cushions, which ensures a high degree of comfort and relaxation, while also reflecting the overall beauty.
Noonu's armrest elements can be arranged in different ways according to needs, and are tied to the die-cast aluminum frame under the seat cushion by delicate webbing, which is also very fascinating.
Noonu is composed of four basic elements, namely square and rectangle. In addition, there are brand new "piano" and "sail" elements, which give the design a certain characteristic and richness. The base of the piano-shaped module creates a comfortable curve on the backrest, while the sail-shaped module adopts a plump and rounded shape at the front. The bold evolution of the basic modules forms a new organic form to bring a comfortable experience.
Noonu will introduce a new fabric with 12 color variations. In addition to this fabric, Noonu can also provide leather.
At the same time, Antonio Citterio also designed the same series of double beds. Its lines, especially the design of the headboard, echo with the sofa, attracting people's attention. In the Noonu style, the lower frame is slightly suspended on the ground, using a common arc-shaped aluminum metal profile, with brushed or black chrome plated options. Like the entire Noonu series, it can be decorated with leather or fabric.
