Napoleon Grills debuts in Las Vegas Market, which is also expanding its home décor resources, and outdoor furniture company Dedon opened its first Washington, D.C., showroom.
Napoleon Grills, a privately owned manufacturer of gourmet gas and charcoal grills, will debut at this summer’s Las Vegas Market in a new 1,194-square-foot exhibit space in building C, the 13th floor. The company will join some 30-plus casual and outdoor temporary exhibitors, including C.R. Plastic Products, Campania International, Hello-Suns, Meadow Décor, Somers Furniture and TK Classics. In addition, Casual Classics— a nationwide casual furniture buying group representing more than 250 retail outlets in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada—will bring its members to the market. The 100 percent member-owned group represents more than $22 million in combined wholesale volume.
“Last summer’s launch of C12 and C13 was a home run,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president of marketing and furniture leasing for International Market Centers, manager of Las Vegas Market. “Buyers appreciated the ability to shop two contiguous floors dedicated to casual and outdoor in permanent and temporary spaces. This summer, we’re giving them even more to choose from, with new tenants and the addition of complementary categories, like grills—a great fit with outdoor that continues to see high demand.”
Las Vegas Market is also expanding its home décor resources. Lighting and accessories vendor Currey & Company returns with a 6,480-square-foot showroom on C3. Furniture and accessories supplier RC Furniture is also returning, with a new 8,190-square-foot showroom on A2. Gift and home accent provider Peacock Park is planning a 2,596-square-foot showroom on C6. Companies planning to expand and relocate existing showrooms for summer Market include Park Hill Collection, supplier of an eclectic assortment of antiques, which is expanding into a new 10,800-square-foot showroom on C6; and HomArt, supplier of home accessories crafted from all-natural, recycled, and new materials, which is expanding into a 2,956-square-foot showroom on C10 as part of the Lifestyle Collection. In Building A, wall art provider Leftbank Art is moving to a new 7,135-square-foot location on A2; while Uttermost is moving to a new 24,161-square-foot location on A4 to support its new Revelation line of designer-oriented and better lifestyle furniture.
Meanwhile, outdoor furniture company Dedon has opened its first Washington, D.C., showroom in the Washington Design Center on 14th Street NW. In suite #460, the 2,500-square-foot showroom is highlighting the new 2016 collection, including the Tigmi daybed and the Mbrace wing chair, rocker and lounge, as well as items from the 2016 collection. “With the luxury market on the upswing, and our brand in its 26th year, this new showroom will provide the ultimate experience and be an exceptional resource for our designers and their clients,” said Andy Kahnke, director of sales. “The DC design scene is exploding right now and the market is having a lot of fun playing with traditional design in eclectic, innovative ways—Dedon is the perfect complement to this fun, exuberant community.”
