Las Vegas Market continues to expand

Las Vegas Market recently announced that commitments from Napoleon Grills, a manufacturer of gourmet gas and charcoal grills, and Casual Classics Furniture Group, a nationwide casual furniture buying group, have added to category momentum for Casual and Outdoor at Las Vegas Market. Casual/Outdoor will mark its one-year anniversary at the Summer 2016 Las Vegas Market, July 31-August 4, with two near-capacity floors devoted to the category augmented by a series of outdoor-specific programming for buyers and suppliers.

 

“The casual offering at Las Vegas Market is growing, the organizers have done an outstanding job at attracting some of the greatest names in the outdoor industry,” said Buzz Homsy, Director, Casual Classics. “A lot of casual buyers, especially out west, are starting to come to this market in addition to the large number of furniture buyers already attending.”

 

“Last summer’s launch of C12 and C13 was a home run,” said Scott Eckman, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Furniture Leasing for International Market Centers (IMC). “Buyers appreciated the ability to shop two contiguous floors dedicated to Casual and Outdoor in permanent and temporary spaces. They liked what they saw. This summer, we’re giving them even more to choose from, with new tenants and the addition of complementary categories, like grills – a great fit with outdoor that continues to see high demand.”

 

Napoleon Grills, North America’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of wood and gas fireplaces, gourmet gas and charcoal grills and outdoor living products will debut at Las Vegas Market in a new 1,194-square foot exhibit space on C13. Napoleon joins some 30+ Casual and Outdoor temporary exhibitors showcased on C13, including C.R Plastic Products; Campania International; Hello-Suns; Meadow Décor; Somers Furniture; and TK Classics. Together, floors C12 and C13 present some 250,000 square feet dedicated exclusively to everything trending in the outdoor category.

 

On the retail side, Casual Classics, a nationwide casual furniture buying group representing 250+ retail outlets in the United States Puerto Rico and Canada, will bring its members to Market to network, learn and shop a fresh selection of the newest outdoor and casual products available. The 100% member-owned group represents more than $22 million in combined wholesale volumes.

 

In addition to a growing representation for the category, Summer Market features dedicated programming for casual, including keynote presentations, the financial impact of adding casual to your merchandising mix, outdoor merchandising and product demonstrations, floor parties and more.
