Ebisons Harounian Imports added eight styles to its Ganga collection with an eye on appealing to its base of interior design clientele.

The rugs, 16 in all with more coming, can be seen in Ebisons’ 389 Fifth Ave. Suite 508 showroom. The latest styles will eventually also be online at ebisons.com.

Principal Michael Harounian said the collection, which is 100% wool in mostly grays, light blues and teals, are in the fashionable transitional style, which he believes should appeal to interior designers and higher-end retailers.

“This is a welcome addition to our mix of goods particularly as the current trends in the home furnishings industry is turning more towards transitional and modern rather than traditional looks,” Harounian said.

The rugs are available in 8-by-10 and 9-by-12 sizes with others coming shortly. Once the 6-by-9 size is available, Harounian said it should retail for $799.
