The RealReal announced the launch of new home category
    September 22,2016



 

The RealReal, the leading luxury consignment company, today announced the launch of its home category which includes luxury home goods and eclectic items including furniture, tabletop accessories, fine art, lighting, rugs, barware, and glassware. For consignors, the company now offers free pickup and storage of these home items, a service that doesn't exist anywhere else. An extension of the company's white glove service, an expert consults with the consignor and then a pickup of their items is scheduled, free of charge. The items are then processed, authenticated, merchandised and sold by the company rounding out a full-service consignment experience.

 

The launch of the home category is supported by The RealReal's hire of Senior Category Director Kimberly Brown, formerly with Design Within Reach and Walmart.com, bringing over 15 years of experience and expertise as a buyer and merchandiser in the design industry. With the launch of the home category, The RealReal now offers the largest selection of pre-owned luxury goods including women's and men's fashion, fine jewelry, watches, home, and fine art.
