Istanbul Furniture Fair (ISMOB) is opening up to the world between January 10th to 15th, 2017
Organized by TUYAP fairs with the cooperation of the Association of Turkish Furniture Manufacturers (MOSDER) to better promote Turkish furniture industry, international promotional activities of Istanbul Furniture Fair (ISMOB) continue in full swing.
ISMOB; having reached a record breaking participation with the number of 132 thousand industryprofessionals from 107 countries in 2016 in Istanbul, came this time together with international industryrepresentatives and fair participants in MOW Fair, held in Bad Salzuflen, Germany.
"25% OF THE EXPORT TARGET IS MET THROUGH ISMOB"
In regard to promotional activities carried out in Milan, fashion city of Italy, Moscow and Dubai respectively, TUYAPGeneral Manager Ilhan Ersozlu stated as follows: "We have commenced a promotional activity to break our previous record and to cover 1.5 billion consumers across the globe. With ISMOB being the world's third most important furniture fair and the largest in Eurasia region, we would like to make ISMOB the second biggest fair which can challenge with Chinese and Italian dominance in the sector. During the first eight months of the year, production achieved 6.25 billion USD. Thanks to promotional activities of ISMOB 2017, we aim to increase its current share of 25% within the export figure. The number of foreign participants of 10% during previous years has now risen to 30%."
" WE WILL ACHIEVE OUR 2023 GOALS WITH ISMOB"
MOSDER Chairman, İsmail Dogan , said that the fair provides 25% of 3 billion USD export target of the Turkish furniture industry. Underlining ISMOB's great contribution to the industry, Dogan continued: "As furniture manufacturers, we have an export target of 10 billion USD in 2023. This figure, however, can only be achieved by reaching new markets."
120 THOUSAND SQUARE METER TO HOST MORE THAN 1000 BRANDS
ISMOB will take place for the 13 th time in TÜYAP Fair and Convention Center from January 10 th to 15 th , 2017.
The fair will present products of more than 1000 brands to customers in 14 halls, covering an area of 120 thousand square meters.
At the 'Trend Field' activities will be carried out to emphasize the importance of handicrafts, such as marbling, gilding and wood arts.
