Due for delivery in late April, the yacht was built on speculation and she is the sistership to Vertige, Bintador and Olokun. The wording on her transom suggests she will be named Kinda.

This model's hybrid propulsion system is based on Bintador's and will provide three cruising modes: diesel-mechanical, diesel-electric and full-electric. Developed in collaboration with MAN and Siemens, this system is designed to offer increased fuel efficiency, improved comfort while cruising at night and extend the servicing time of the generators.

Sistership Olokun was launched in September 2020

Francesco Paszkowski’s exterior design was key in the owner’s decision to commission the build, along with the quality of Tankoa’s build and the option to install a hybrid propulsion system, the yard said.

She marks the first unit in the series to features a forward swimming pool.

Delivery is due in 2022

Speaking about the construction, Tankoa's chief executive officer Vicenzo Poerio said: “As our second yacht with hybrid propulsion, this launch confirms we are at the forefront of technological research in order to meet the needs of even the most sophisticated owners."

The yacht will have accommodation for up to 12 in six cabins, including a full-beam VIP suite and master stateroom on the main deck forward.
