A lack of inventory, persistent inflation and a general air of uncertainty relating to the US Presidential election all contributed to a decline in brokerage yacht sales this year compared to 2023. With respect to this year's 10 most expensive sales, BOATPro indicates the total amount secured fell 52.8 per cent from €1.51 billion in 2023 to €711.9 million in 2024.

A €5,000,000 price drop has been announced on the 53-metre Sanlorenzo motor yacht Oceanbird, on the market with Steen Christensen of SuperYachtsMonaco.

The 29.6-metre motor yacht Victorious has been sold in an in-house deal with Miles Clark of Ocean Independence. The yacht had a change of broker and was listed for sale at a reduced price in May this year.

The 43-metre Overmarine motor yacht Halara has been sold with Stuart Larsen and Jan Jaap Minnema of Fraser representing the seller and Alan Auvare of Fraser introducing the buyer.

Turkish shipyard Sarp Yachts has unveiled the first interior renderings of its XSR 85 RPH, a 25.9-metre model and the latest addition to its XSR range. With the first hull already sold, this raised-pilothouse yacht is set to debut in late 2025.
