ISA Yachts is bringing a trio of serpentine superyachts to the high seas. The European shipyard, one of four owned by Palumbo Superyachts, just unveiled a new range called Viper that comprises three models ranging from 100 to 140 feet.

Arcadia Yachts continues to make waves in the luxury yacht industry with the recent sale of two new units, including the brand's latest project, the A96, and the beloved Sherpa 60 model. These sales contribute to an order book exceeding 30 million euros, with multiple yachts set to be delivered between now and summer 2024.

The alleged owner of Alfa Nero has challenged the constitutionality of the legislative amendment that allows the Antiguan government to seize and sell the yacht. A High Court Judge has scheduled the initial hearing for Yulia Gurieva-Motlokhov's challenge of the Port Authority (Amendment) Act for 20 September, 2024. Yulia Guryeva-Motlokhov, daughter of the sanctioned Russian Andrey Guryev, recently fell under UK sanctions and has failed to stop the sale of the Alfa Nero through a court injunction. She is now contesting the legality of the Port Authority (Amendment) Act 2023, used by the government to seize the Alfa Nero last year, arguing that it nullified her ownership rights to the vessel.

The second unit in Overmarine’s new Mangusta Oceano 39 series (the entry level in the Mangusta Oceano displacement line) launched at the Italian builder’s Viareggio yard this week. The three-deck yacht was built in composite material for an American owner.

The next installment of Below Deck Mediterranean has all the makings of a Greek epic. Bravo just announced the ninth season of the hit reality series will take place in the azure waters off the coast of Athens, Greece, with the cast returning to the glamorous 180-foot Mustique for more drama. According to the TV network, Captain Sandy and her team will face “fresh and formidable challenges,” including eccentric guests, mechanical issues, and medical emergencies. You can expect plenty of “boatmances,” too. Mustique will again serve as a beautiful backdrop for the season.
