Migaloo PSY (Private Submersible Yachts) has revealed a 165.8-metre submersible superyacht concept known as Migaloo M5. Suitable in both tropical and arctic conditions, the Migaloo M5 is designed to be fully submerged at a depth of 250 metres for approximately four weeks. "In addition to motor yachts and sailing yachts, I believe that submersible superyachts will become an additional category of private vessels that owners can choose from," said Migaloo PSY CEO Christian Gumpold.

Numarine has more explorer yachts in store for 2024. The European builder just announced that the first 40MXP will be launched sometime this year. As with the smaller explorers in the fleet, the new model is designed for bluewater cruising but also caters to the Mediterranean lifestyle. In fact, “MXP” stands for Mediterranean explorer.
