At the Monaco Yacht Show, Bassan&Benedetti introduced the Kestrel, an 80-meter converted explorer concept, part of an expansive collaboration with McFarlane ShipDesign for conversion projects. Adhering to the ethos of "form follows function," the exterior design balances minimalism and cost-effectiveness while respecting the original hull.

Drift Energy is confident that its new catamaran concept will have a positive effect on the environment. So confident, in fact, that it has named it the Most Valuable Yacht, or MVY for short. The newcomer, which was unveiled at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, will have the ability to generate, store, and deliver green hydrogen while at sea. Producing this zero-carbon fuel will give MVY real value in the marine industry and beyond, hence the vessel’s name.

The 36.9-metre Vitters explorer yacht Dardanella has been listed for sale with Max Bulley of Y.CO. The Dutch pedigree vessel was constructed in aluminium in 1996 by Vitters – better known for its sailing superyachts – to designs by Vripack. She was refitted in 2018 and the broker said that "the vessel was built to explore and was not converted from another life".

Sirena Superyachts announces that the construction of the first 42-metre model is set to begin this autumn. Luca Vallebona has been selected to create the exterior and layout, while the Italian studio Hot Lab, part of The Viken Group, has been chosen to design the interior spaces.

Italian design firm Hydro Tec has revealed a visionary 55-meter catamaran yacht concept at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. This nautical creation draws inspiration from the natural and architectural beauty of the Mediterranean, presenting a vessel suitable for extensive Red Sea voyages and navigation in Nordic oceans.
