Tasting Notes
With six months of aging in oak barrels followed by a year underwater, this wine of the Tempranillo varietal is very robust, with a powerful structure, and a youthful, fruity expression exhibiting aromas of berries and sweet vanilla, conveying fresh sensations.
Visual Profile: High intensity cardinal red, with a cherry red tinge.
Aromatic Profile: : Very clean and clear in the nose, with high intensity. The first scents are ripe red fruits with hints of red licorice, together with aromas of chocolate. The fruit stands out above the wood, which emerges as toasted undertones of cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and elegant smokiness. The wine opens in the glass very nicely, showing a young, modern style combined with the maturity of the oak, along with mineral and saline qualities. As it finishes, dynamic and still evolving in the glass, it leaves memories of dried seaweed and fallen leaves.
Taste Profile: A pleasant and sweet opening quickly gives way to a concentrated and voluminous wine, with a midpalate marked by freshness, and a finish that shows its strength through ample phenolic components. Very mature, round, velvety, and buttery, with sweet tannins, it has a fruity nose, with scents of blackberry, licorice, liqueur, bon-bons, and jam. Vanilla, nuts and mineral notes appear at the end, and linger. In short, it is a wine that reaches all of your senses and leaves a strong impression.
