AccorHotels will manage a new Raffles Hotels & Resorts hotel with Dubai-based developer Nakheel. The Raffles The Palm Dubai Hotel and Raffles Residences will be developed in the PALM360 tower, which is still under construction.
Set to open in 2021, the tower will not only mark Raffles' first beachside resort in Dubai, but will also be the tallest structure on Palm Jumeirah. At almost 853 feet high, PALM360 will have 125 guestrooms and suites while the residential complex will have 359 branded residences with 16 branded penthouses. On Palm Jumeirah's seven-mile crescent Boardwalk, PALM360 is near Dubai's business and leisure hubs and various upcoming attractions, including The Palm Promenade, The Pointe and Nakheel Mall.
As part of the Raffles-brand portfolio, Raffles The Palm Dubai and Raffles Residences PALM360 will follow the 11 Raffles Hotels & Resorts around the world, including Raffles Dubai. The brand is included in AccorHotels' portfolio of more than 41,000 hotels, resorts and residences and more than 10,000 private homes around the globe.
The upcoming resort is the newest addition to Nakheel’s 16-hotel development pipeline as part of its $1.3-billion hospitality expansion. The developer plans to bring close to 6,000 guestrooms and hotel apartments across Dubai. While the first two hotels at Dragon Mart and Ibn Battuta Mall opened last year, the rest are currently under construction or development. Nakheel's hotel project portfolio has 17 hotels and serviced apartments with nearly 6,000 guestrooms and hotel apartments in Dubai, including Palm Jumeirah, Deira Islands, Jumeirah Village and Dragon City. Two are currently open while the others are at various stages of construction and development.
