According to the data unveiled by China Light Industry Information Center on August 4, in the first 4 months of 2014, the total export value of China furniture decreased by 7% year-on-year, meanwhile the number of April increased by 2.34% compares to the previous month.
In this period, the total export value of seat and its accessories, wood furniture, metal furniture, furniture made by other materials and furniture parts took up 97% of all the furniture export; the proportion of seat and accessories, wood furniture is keeping on increasing while that of metal furniture, furniture made by other materials and furniture parts is decreasing.
