Pure LatexBliss is showing its all-latex InteLa-Teccollection, which is fashioned from synthetic latex, at this week's Las Vegas Market.
The company says that name derives from the Intelligent Latex Technology incorporated in the beds.
The InteLa-Tec line has been designed to bring Talalay process all-latex mattresses at lower price points to consumers who like the feel and muscle-relaxing benefits of Talalay latex but are indifferent to the natural characteristics of the product, officials said.
The all-synthetic Talalay latex used in each InteLa-Teccollection mattress is created through a special formulation repurposed from the same virgin high-grade synthetic latex used in 100% latex medical gloves.
The three mattresses in the Oeko-Tex certified InteLa-Teccollection feature synthetic Talalay latex pressure relief layers, synthetic Talalay latex support cores and are available in 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch profiles. The InteLa-Teccollection is priced below the core Pure LatexBliss line.
“Our goal with the InteLa-Tec collection was to round out the latex category and provide a range of pricing options for consumers,” said David Fisher., president and CEO of Pure LatexBliss parent Latex International “We recognized that consumers interested in latex mattresses come from different points of entry — some buyers are natural-oriented, whereas others have different lifestyle and environmental concerns. The InteLa-Tec collection appeals to the consumer who cares about living a green lifestyle, but puts less weight on it than those who would turn to some of our higher-priced collections. We believe that our industry-first combination of the Talalay process with a synthesized formulation of latex and lower price points is a true differentiator for retailers.”
