(Editor: Leona) Natuzzi Americas has launched the Natuzzi Design Studio, a new division that will focus on growing business with architects and designers.
“With the evolution of the Natuzzi Italia brand that now encompasses a ‘total-look,’ we are well positioned to attract designers and architects looking for modern and contemporary lifestyles,” said Scott Sullens, director of the division.
“Our goal is simple, to make Natuzzi a premium resource for designers and architects,” said Sullens. Designers will have access to the Natuzzi Italia and Re-Vive product categories. Both are supported by a Quick Time Program that pulls stocked product. In addition, Natuzzi has partnered with local retailers, has become an ASID Industry Partner, and is a global sponsor of Design Camp.
“Working with our retailers and these great organizations is critical to the success of this program,” said Sullens. Natuzzi will work with designers directly when there are no local retailers in the market.
Natuzzi has created an online Designer Lounge that allows designers access to the catalogs, images, and pricelists. The Natuzzi Design Studio has also developed a social media platform, (separate from Natuzzi) that includes Facebook (@NatuzziDesignStudio), Twitter (@NatuzziDesign), and Instagram (@Natuzzi_Design_Studio) to connect with the design community.
Sullens has worked in the industry for 18 years, starting as a retailer then as a sales rep.
As vice president of sales at Lexington Home Brands, he worked with brands such as Tommy Bahama, Nautica and Trump Home. He also has launched several global brands in the U.S. including Brandina, an Italian handbag company, and Aramith, a high-end Belgian billiards company.
