Source:Casual Living     May 03,2016

Frankfurt, Germany – Heimtextil’s team of trend experts today announced the overarching theme for next year’s Theme Park and 2017/2018 trend book.

The theme of "Exploration" is inspired by the vision of reinvigorating humanity’s scientific curiosity and the spirit of discovery.

This year’s Trend Table group included studios from five countries. They are:

• Carlin International (France), which bears the main responsibility for the development of the Heimtextil trends 2017/2018.
• Anne Marie Commandeur from the Stijlinstituut Amsterdam (Netherlands).
• Dan and Gen Namura from Dan Project (Japan).
• WGSN (U.S.A.), represented by trend expert Lisa White.
• Kate Franklin and Titia Dane from FranklinTill design studio (United Kingdom).
• Felix Diener and Kristina Lehmann from Felix Diener studio (Germany).

Heimtextil 2017 will take place at Messe Frankfurt from Jan. 10-13 on the Tuesday through Friday schedule introduced last January.
