On March 22, IKEA announced that it would invest US$16 million in map positioning company what3words.


What3words translates into a three-word address in Chinese, is a simple positioning system application, and currently provides services for Mercedes-Benz and other companies. Outsiders believe that IKEA's move is to help IKEA optimize its logistics system through what3words' research on map positioning.
