Miminat is diving into the marine industry. The London-based studio, which was founded by Nigerian artist and designer Miminat Shodeinde in 2015, just unveiled its first superyacht concept. Christened simply K, the 131-footer is rooted in Japanese aesthetics and showcases the striking architectural elements for which Miminat is renowned.

The renowned Venetian design studio Nuvolari Lenard is set to launch the first yacht in its new series, the 47-metre S1, from the Mengi Yay shipyard in Turkey. This groundbreaking superyacht, nearing completion, will be showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, highlighting the exceptional design and craftsmanship that Nuvolari Lenard is known for.

Rashed Al Shaali, a descendant of the founding family of Gulf Craft, is ready to create his own marine legacy. The Emirati entrepreneur has launched a new brand called Mirrari to push the envelope in luxury yachting. Al Shaali has enlisted UAE shipyard Enata to build the fleet and designer Timur Bozca to pen the inaugural model.

The 29.1-metre S.E. Ward & Co sailing yacht Alcanara sold, with Will Bishop of Superyacht Partners introducing the buyer and Jamie Small of Burgess representing the seller.

Antonini Navi appears to have created the Range Rover of the high seas. The Italian shipyard, which specializes in the construction of custom cruisers, just unveiled the first model in a new line of Sport Utility Yachts. Catering to the growing demand for vessels capable of traversing the farthest reaches in style, the new SUYs offer impressive seakeeping, comfort, and luxury.
