Complex fruit aromas of peach and pineapple mingle with guava, caramel and vanilla like nuances that complement the smooth and rich palate. The palate is full of lush sweetness and ripe stone fruit with a lovely acid balance that carries through the long and flavourful finish.
The grapes for the 2016 Vidal were harvested on January 6, 2017 at temperatures of minus -11° C to -12°. The first-run juice from the frozen grapes was cool fermented for 2 months in stainless steel.
Try with a peach or lemon curd tart and strong-pungent cheese. Serve wine chilled at 6-8° C.
Note: Stored in a refrigerator, Icewine will keep for a month. When properly stored, unopened Icewine will last for a decade or more.
