Red Star Macalline initiated official access to Chinese home furniture together with CQC

On May 8, 2016, Red Star Macalline witnessed Quality Chinese Home Furniture Strategy Conference and New York • Milan • Beijing-Tianjin • Shanghai Brand signing ceremony at East Fourth Ring Mall, Beijing. 110 internationally well-known brands from New York, Milan, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing and Sichuan officially signed up the  "Official Enquiry Access to Chinese Home Furniture". The consumers can get the product information by scanning the code on their WeChat, and it is expected that 2000 brands will join the plan within three years.

 

Red Star cooperated with CQC

 

Cooperated with the government, Red Star Macalline conducts the marketing promotion integrating their 180 malls, and aims to build a special third-party official enquiry access to Chinese home furniture.

 

Zhang Xian, vice president of Red Star Macalline, introduced that "Official Enquiry Access to Chinese Home Furniture" was initiated by China Quality Certification Center. The Access synthesized NFC and QR code recognition technology, and each home furniture commodity can generate independent number. The consumers can open WeChat to scan the anti-counterfeit QR code to distinguish between true and false when shopping at Red Star Macalline home furniture mall, by which, the forged and fake commodities will be avoided completely.

 

Since the marketing in December last year, "Official Enquiry Access to Chinese Home Furniture" has attracted high attention from the consumers and industry brands, and it has signed up more than 260 brand enterprises up to April, 2016.

 

 

 

The Official Enquiry Access to Chinese Home Furniture signed up a hundred brands, covering ten international big brands, Magniflex, Impronta, Alberta, MDFPORRO, CHIC CASA, EU Home, NATUZZI, FLOS and ALF from Italy, Harborhouse from America, Go from Spain, Theodore Alexander from England, and Alivar, Eastman House, Yeodano and other international brands popular among the consumers.

 

Wang Wei, vice president of Red Star Macalline believed that the imported furniture attracts more attention on authenticity from consumers attributable to its high price, strong graphic sense and easy imitation compared with Chinese furniture. The imported furniture consumption mainly depends on Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing and other cities, so it is more significant to have the imported brands to join in "Quality Strategy" in such cities.
