HIGH POINT — Legacy Classic Furniture has partnered with Rachael Ray to design three collections to be revealed at April’s market, but the company previewed several of the new pieces at the recent Premarket.

The company said the collections include pieces for every room, from dining room to bedroom, and include items such as a mini-mudroom, kitchen island and a dog bed.

Don Essenberg, president of Legacy, said Ray examined and approved every piece offered, and said there are over 300 pieces in this line.

The collections are called Soho, Upstate, and Highline. They each have different finishes and styles, yet easily transition from one collection to the other. Soho has an ash finish with a gray taupe tone, Highline has a soft gray finish with some charcoal highlights in the ticking, and Upstate has a more hand waxed patina and a relaxed Americana styling. The entire line blends design with function, incorporating outlets in many pieces. Within each collection is the option for the larger dining room table or a smaller version, suitable for an eat-in kitchen. The bedrooms each have dressers, even though Ray does not personally have a dresser in her bedroom.

Each collection also has a unique piece, only offered in that collection. Soho has what is called “Home Base,” a storage cabinet that functions as a mini-mudroom. Hanging on the open doors are a white board and cork board, along with a customizable shelving system. Upstate, meanwhile, has a new take on the roll-top desk, offering a work area within the bedroom.
