    Rubik’s Snake lamp Changed to a Table Lamp and a Wall Lamp

    Two designers, Oikimus Maria and Ivan Zverev, of Oikimus designed the Rubik’s Snake lamp. The Rubik’s Snake lamp also can become a table lamp, a wall lamp and ceiling light.

     

    Children of the 1970s, you’re about to get a heavy dose of nostalgia. I’m sure we all remember the Rubik’s Cube, but do you remember its sister toy, the Rubik’s Snake (I think it was also known as the Rubik’s Twist)? I do, I do!! These two designers, Oikimus Maria and Ivan Zverev, of Oikimus Design, remember it too, and designed the 5+5 table Lamp based on it.

    Hobo Lighting Series by Studio Aisslinger for Wästberg

    Studio Aisslinger designed a series of lights that were created in conjunction with Stockholm’s Hobo Hotel, which they were also responsible for. Swedish manufacturer Wästberg was on board to work with them on the Hobo Lamp Family that evoked the same look and feel of the hotel’s interior. The result is a collection of lamps that come as either suspension lamps, table, or hook lamps, which can be used alone or in clusters.
