    A GERMAN metals company has become one of the first firms in the industrial sector to pay for the replacement of its lighting with LEDs with ‘lighting as a service’ contract.

     

    A GERMAN metals company has become one of the first firms in the industrial sector to pay for the replacement of its lighting with LEDs with a monthly fee in a so-called ‘lighting as a service’ contract.

     

    Aluminium Gmbh, which supplies metal extrusions, is paying for the replacement of the ageing lighting at its factory complex outside Dortmund with a fixed monthly rate payable over six years.
