    Northern Lighting Drops Half of Its Name to Launch a New Brand + Collection

    We’ve been a fan of Oslo-based Northern Lighting for years (see here, here and here) and were excited to hear that the award-winning design studio has shortened its original name to launch a new lifestyle brand, Northern. Established by Ove Rogne, CEO and co-founder of Northern Lighting, Northern is powered by a creative team that includes 16 designers from seven different countries, all hand-selected and assembled by Morten Skjærpe Knarrum and Jonas Norheim, the duo behind design studio Morten & Jonas. By leaving behind the second part of its name, the team opens the possibilities of adding furniture and interior accessories to its portfolio in addition to lighting, all of which celebrate the same original Nordic spirit and design aesthetics of the original brand.
