    Float is a minimalist light created by Australia-based studio Articolo. Articolo explores the art of light through handcrafted, artisanal lighting pieces, and debuted its collection for the first time in the United States this past May. The collection of wall lamp and pendant lamp are created by founder Nicci Green, who goes to say, “When something is made by hand, you can feel the soul that went into it.”

    The Macaron Floor Lamp Is the Latest Addition to This Dessert-Inspired Lighting Collection

    A few years ago, Spanish designer Silvia Ceñal introduced the Macaron pendant lamp and now with Lithuanian company EMKO, the Macaron Floor Lamp comes to life. Much like the pendant, the dessert-inspired design merges simple materials, like wood and rope, with the right proportions to create a lively personality. The wooden frame brings a warm feeling while the threaded cord adds a playful touch through color and texture.

    Hobo Lighting Series by Studio Aisslinger for Wästberg

    Studio Aisslinger designed a series of lights that were created in conjunction with Stockholm’s Hobo Hotel, which they were also responsible for. Swedish manufacturer Wästberg was on board to work with them on the Hobo Lamp Family that evoked the same look and feel of the hotel’s interior. The result is a collection of lamps that come as either suspension lamps, table, or hook lamps, which can be used alone or in clusters.
