    PH 5 Lamp Colorful And Sophisticated Shape

    This year louis poulsen celebrates one of their iconic objects’ 60th anniversary. designed by poul henningsen in 1958, PH 5 lamp is never out of style with its colorful and sophisticated shape. frame studio based in copenhagen was challenged to develop a video which would honor the lamp’s long-lasting popularity.  

     

    Louis poulsen asked frame to make a short movie paying reverence to the danish design legend’s shape itself and highlight the release of new smaller size variant. the studio playfully exressed the subtle transformation from large to small through an abstract and aesthetic exploration of the individual lamp parts searching for a balanced composition. the pieces finally find their perfect fit by settling in the complete constellation of the PH 5 lamp.
